Electrician Courses 4U are pleased to announce that we have launched 2 new courses to help you on your journey to becoming a fully qualified electrician:
Both of these courses are now available to book through our website and contain a mixture of online learning and in centre training.
City and Guilds 2365-02 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
This course is designed to be completed after our Domestic Electrician Package, and will cover a variety of topics from Health & Safety, to Principles of Electrical Science and Electrical Installation Technology.
Four out the five modules have been developed as online learning in order to allow to you to complete as much of the course at home, in your own time, allowing you to fit it around work and your other commitments. The fifth module will need to be completed in centre, as this is a hands on, practical module including a practical assessment. You will need to allow 10 days, consecutive, to come into centre to complete this module and assessment. There will then be a further 2 days that you will need to come into centre to complete the Health & Safety practical assessments, these will be completed at a separate time to the initial 10 days in centre.
All the online exams can also be completed at home using City and Guilds Remote Invigilation Service, again giving you more flexibility to complete the course in your own time.
Once you have complete the course, you may then be interested in enrolling onto the Level 3 2365 qualification.
City and Guilds 2365-03 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
Upon completion of your Level 2 2365 qualification, you may wish to continue your training further by enrolling into the Level 3 2365 course. This course will cover a wide range of topics from Environmental Technology Systems to Fault Diagnosis and Inspection & Testing.
Very similar to our Level 2 2365 course, the Level 3 2365 course will consist of a combination of online, at home learning and in centre training. The online learning will cover six modules, with the in centre training then looking at two of those modules in more depth and on a more practical level. The in centre training will once again consist of 10 consecutive days of practical learning and assessments.
The City and Guilds Remote Invigilation Service will also be available to complete all online exams at home.
After completing both of these qualifications you may then be interested in completed your Level 3 NVQ 2357 qualification. The benefit of completing both of your 2365 qualifications first, allows you to transfer over all of the units that you have passed in these qualifications into the NVQ, meaning that you will only need to complete the evidence portfolio and AM2 assessment.
