In Centre Courses
This course is designed for anyone who is looking to get started in the domestic electrical market, whether you have little or no experience, or are an associate tradesperson. On completion of the three qualifications included in this course you will be able to start working and building experience as a domestic electrician straight away.
This package is exclusive to EC4U, with no other electrician training centre in the UK offering a comparison. It is our most popular electrical course and includes the three core qualifications you need in order to become a qualified domestic electrician, no matter your experience level. What makes this package so different to any other is the week long, hands on experience week held in our purpose built flats, which will give you the confidence and practical skills you need to become a domestic installer.
This City and Guilds Level 2 2365 Electrical Installation Course will allow you to develop and practise the skills required to become an electrician. It is designed for people who have already completed our Domestic Electrician Course, before progressing onto our Level 3 2365 Electrical Installation Course.
Our Keystage course is suitable for those new to the industry or with little electrical installation experience. If you want to become a domestic electrician, this specially designed course will give you the knowledge and competency to pass your exams. For anyone looking to learn the basics before undertaking further electrical training qualifications, this is the right course for you.
The City and Guilds 2392-10 Level 2 Inspection and Testing course covers domestic or similar single phase installation. This qualification is suitable for both those new to the industry and current electricians looking to add to their existing skill set. If you are carrying out electrical installations, you will need this essential qualification to understand how to safely test and inspect your work.
Our Experience Course is the only one of its kind in the UK and unique to our training centre. The course takes place in our 3 purpose built flats, where you get as realistic as possible practical experience. If you want to become confident in your electrical installation skills, then this is the perfect course for you.
If you are an experienced electrician looking to enhance your current Inspection, Testing and Periodic skills and knowledge, then this is the right package for you. Within the package are two qualifications, which cover periodic inspection and initial verification and commissioning of electrical installations. Further your career today with a Level 3 commercial qualification!
If you are looking to become a domestic electrician, you will need to be aware of Part P of the Building Regulations and demonstrate that your installations meet current regulations. To do this you must be competent and have a good knowledge of the regulations and what they include, such as minor and notifiable work.
The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations will be released in July 2018. From then, the 17th Edition Course will not be offered and you will be required to take 18th Edition Course. Find out now what the expected changes are and how long the course will be.
Andy is now working towards accreditation with a competent persons scheme, and is hoping to return to EC4U in the future to complete a Level 3 Certificate. He would recommend EC4U to anyone who is looking for a professional and well-run company to help them move forward with their career.

“The practical and classroom work were very well organised and thought through. The centre was very good, with free tea and coffee! Clear and concise information was given on initial contact. I enjoyed it and would recommend!”
